Difference between Believing & Knowing (Experiencing)

When you were young your mother told you: Son, Don't put your hand in fire you will burn your hand. Assuming that she has always spoken truth to you, you  believed her. But after a while you got curious. You wanted to know what actually it feels like to burn.

So one day you went into the kitchen, put your hand in the fire & burnt it. Now this became your experience & you decided that never in your life you will put your hand in fire again. Your mother telling you was ‘believing’ & you actually burnt yourself was knowing (experiencing).

Similarly you listening to someone about Permanent love, joy, happiness which is good, but it’s just a belief for you because you have not experienced it, similar to your mother telling you that you will burn your hand. You experience so much ups & downs in your life that you think this is only what life is meant for & you fail to experience what the permanent Joy, Happiness is & you cling onto a person or thing to derive joy/happiness or sense of security from it because you feel afraid feeling the fear itself.

Belief is like a mirage, If you are believing in one thing today, you will believe in something else tomorrow which would be entirely different, leading to life of shaky reality because life will throw circumstances on you which will not go by your belief & thus landing you in a Paradox.

Don't Believe, seek the answers, seek the truth..

So how do you experience it?

If you want to experience by your five senses what is actual true love, joy, happiness in your body you will have to use some process which is yoga & meditation. It’s a tool/technology just like where fire was a tool used to burn your hand, Yoga & Meditation is used to reach the state of happiness, joy, love in oneself.
